Review the soap’s condition at the packing stage
Soap packaging can involve a wrapped bar, a bare bar or an existing primary pack. The condition and contact requirements affect the carton or sleeve brief. Include the actual bar dimensions and any expected dimensional variation. Windows, printing and paper choices should follow the agreed contact arrangement, with the customer confirming any material or market-specific requirements.
Choose paper and closure for the supplied soap
A sleeve, tuck carton or other reviewed paperboard format can be considered around the actual bar or wrapped primary pack. Include the customer’s product-contact requirements and any expected size variation. The chosen print surface and finishing must follow that specification. Do not imply that a general board grade provides automatic compatibility with every soap formulation.

Can soap be packed directly against the printed board?
State the intended contact explicitly and request the relevant material assessment. A general paperboard specification is not proof of suitability for every soap formulation.
