Drawer Boxes
Allow for the drawer’s full travel
A drawer box needs clearance for the tray to slide and for the recipient to grasp the contents. Decide whether the tray is removable or retained and specify the pull detail. The sleeve and tray must be reviewed as a pair after wrapping. A visually compact closed box can still need significant space when opened.
Match the sleeve, tray and pull detail
A wrapped rigid sleeve and sliding tray need compatible assembled dimensions after paper and lining are included. Select printed or decorative wrapping, then review a notch, tab or ribbon as an access detail. The pull should suit the tray load and travel. Keep the fitment and removal area visible when approving the final sample.

Should a drawer box include a ribbon pull?
It is one possible access detail. Compare a ribbon, notch or other reviewed pull arrangement against the tray load and the desired presentation.
