Gable boxes combine an upper folded profile with a carrying detail. Define the full contents and weight, how the top closes and whether the handle is intended to carry the load. The upper profile can limit usable space and outer-carton packing. Sample erection and carrying with the actual contents before approving the final structure.
Review board and handle around the filled use
Select the folding-board construction and top closure with the intended contents and carrying role. Keep printed artwork clear of the handle opening and review any laminate with the folds and attachment arrangement. A decorative silhouette does not establish a carrying rating. Approve erection, loading and, where intended, handling of the filled sample.

Can a gable handle be treated as a decorative feature only?
Yes, if that is the agreed use. If buyers are expected to carry the filled pack by it, the handle and attachment need a load-specific review.
