Pillow Boxes

AI concept: ivory pillow-shaped pack with curved ends, catalog view.

Check the usable cavity behind the pillow silhouette

Pillow boxes use curved end closures that reduce usable space compared with their flat outline. Review the product’s actual shape and how it enters the pack. A compact presentation for a lightweight item creates a different brief from a carton for a heavy vessel. Do not select the structure solely from the nominal flat dimensions.

Choose folding stock for the curved closure

Pillow packaging needs paperboard and creasing suited to its assembled curved form. Review the artwork on the panels that remain visible after closing, including the seam and end flaps. A matte or gloss finish should be sampled with the actual fold action. Use a representative product to confirm space and handling before approving a small gift pack.

Are pillow-box dimensions the same as the usable product space?

Not necessarily. Curved end closures and the assembled shape affect the cavity. Check the loaded sample and clarify dimension definitions in the drawing.
