Tuck Top Boxes

AI concept: ivory tuck-top carton with a small front thumb notch, catalog view.

Specify the bottom as well as the tuck top

Tuck top describes the top closure but leaves the bottom construction unresolved. A retail pack could pair that opening with different bases, depending on the load and filling routine. State the finished product weight and how the carton is erected. Otherwise two suppliers can quote different constructions under the same general tuck-box description.

Define the base before comparing carton quotes

A tuck top may pair with a tuck, auto-lock or another reviewed bottom. Identify the finished load and the receiving team’s assembly method, then choose the paperboard grade and caliper. Offset artwork and surface finishing should be assessed against that completed dieline so quotations do not silently price different bases under one product name.

Is a tuck-top carton automatically a straight tuck end box?

No. Specify both ends. The top can tuck in while the bottom uses another reviewed construction.
