B2B Custom Manufacturing & Enquiry Governance
Terms of Services
These Terms of Service govern your use of the LUX BOX Printing & Packaging website and outline the standard commercial framework for project quotations, structural design, pre-production sampling (PPS), quality control, and international freight.
This website operates strictly as a B2B custom project enquiry platform and not a fixed-price retail store. Binding obligations arise only upon execution of a formal Proforma Invoice (PI) or Purchase Contract.
Subject to structure; smaller trial runs require explicit review.
Lead times begin after Pre-Production Sample sign-off & deposit.
Balance settled post-production prior to EXW/FOB/CIF dispatch.
Inspected against signed PPS; 3rd-party inspection by appointment.
1. Company Scope & Manufacturing Network
1.1 Independent B2B Entity: LUX BOX Printing & Packaging ("LUX BOX", "we", "us", or "our") is an independently registered B2B custom packaging company serving international business buyers. We directly manage international sales, project quotations, commercial contracts, and payment collection.
1.2 Operating Location: Our supplied operating address is located at LUX Printing Industrial Zone, Dafu Community, Guanlan Street, Longhua District, Shenzhen, China. Formal legal registration details and banking coordinates are specified directly on your official Proforma Invoice (PI) or sales contract.
1.3 Manufacturing Architecture: To deliver diverse structural formats and specialized surface finishes, manufacturing combines our own and affiliated factories alongside selected external partner facilities. Not every printing press, die-cutting machine, or assembly line belongs to a single legal entity. LUX BOX acts as your central contracting party, coordinating purchasing, production scheduling, and quality control across our manufacturing network. Specific production capacity, special finishes, and structural feasibility are always subject to project-by-project confirmation.
2. Product Scope, Accessories & Sector Exclusions
2.1 Core Independently Sold Products: Our primary standalone manufacturing scope covers custom outer packaging and protective internal structures, including:
- Rigid Boxes Lid & base, shoulder & neck, collapsible magnetic/book-style, drawer, and specialty structures.
- Folding Cartons & Corrugated Tuck-end, auto-lock, snap-lock, window cartons, E/B-flute mailers, and litho-laminated boxes.
- Cylindrical Paper Tubes Spiral-wound paperboard tubes customized to vessel height, diameter, and wall thickness.
- Standalone or Paired Inserts Custom EVA foam, folded paperboard, and corrugated inserts (available with or without outer boxes).
2.2 Packaging-Project Accessories: Items such as paper shopping bags, fabric pouches, cosmetic bags, printed tissue paper, ribbons, and labels are supplied primarily as coordinated packaging-project accessories alongside box orders, rather than as a standalone retail accessories business.
2.3 Application Sectors & Exclusions: Our validated industry applications cover Candle, Home Fragrance & Diffuser, Perfume & Fragrance, Cosmetic & Skincare, and Gift & Seasonal Packaging. Jewelry packaging represents a secondary category subject to specific portfolio review. Direct-contact food packaging is strictly excluded from our scope. Photographs of sample applications displayed on this website illustrate manufacturing capability and never imply ready-to-ship stock or pre-existing public tooling.
3. Project Enquiries, Custom Quotations & MOQ Policy
3.1 Progressive Brief Clarification: Buyers are not required to submit complete technical dielines to initiate an enquiry. A product photo, vessel dimensions/weight, and rough target quantity are sufficient to begin. Our purchasing and sales teams will progressively clarify materials, board calipers, insert tolerances, surface finishes, and destination requirements.
3.2 Custom Project Costing: Because custom packaging varies significantly by dimension, paper stock, hand-assembly complexity, and tooling, this website does not offer instant automated checkout pricing. All quotations are calculated by our purchasing department, verified by sales management, and paired with factory-confirmed lead times. Die-cutting, embossing, or molding tooling costs may be itemized separately.
3.3 Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ): Regular production MOQ is near 1,000 pieces per SKU for most box structures, subject to specific format differences. Due to machine setup and tooling economics, smaller trial orders for startup launches or repeat buyers are never automatic and require explicit management and factory approval.
4. Structural Design Support, Production Files & IP Rights
4.1 Design & 3D Visualization Protocol: Our internal team provides graphic layout assistance, conventional structural dielines, and 3D concept visualizations, while complex structural engineering involves specialized factory technicians. Basic structural design normally follows confirmation and payment of the sampling fee; complex structural development or multi-SKU kit engineering may incur separate design charges.
4.2 Ownership of Working Production Files: Any 3D concept renders displayed on our platform or shared during pre-sampling are labeled and treated as illustrative concepts. While trusted prospects may occasionally receive preview screenshots or 3D concept visuals for internal evaluation, editable native production files, CAD dielines, and print-ready separation files remain proprietary working assets of LUX BOX unless separately purchased or contractually transferred.
4.3 Client Trademarks & Artwork Warranty: By submitting logos, brand assets, or custom dielines to LUX BOX, the Buyer warrants that they hold valid intellectual property rights or authorization to reproduce such designs. The Buyer agrees to indemnify LUX BOX and its partner factories against third-party claims of trademark, copyright, or design patent infringement arising from Buyer-supplied artwork.
5. Physical Sampling & Mandatory Pre-Production Sample (PPS)
5.1 White & Printed Sampling Terms: Both unprinted white structural samples (to verify vessel fit and board rigidity) and fully finished printed samples are available. Samples are normally paid services, and international courier freight for physical samples is generally borne by the Buyer. Free custom prototypes or automatic sample-fee rebates against bulk orders are never implied unless explicitly stated in writing on your quotation.
5.2 Drawing Sign-Off: Buyers must review and confirm 2D structural drawings and artwork proofs in writing prior to sample fabrication or tooling creation.
5.3 Pre-Production Sample (PPS) Requirement: A confirmed Pre-Production Sample (PPS) is strictly required before mass production begins--even if the Buyer did not place a separate preliminary sample order. Physical sign-off of the PPS is preferred; documented remote approval via high-resolution photography and video is permissible only when mutually agreed in writing. The approved PPS and signed artwork proof establish the binding reference standard for bulk manufacturing and Quality Control.
6. Payment Terms & Lead-Time Activation
6.1 Standard Commercial Payment Structure: Unless otherwise agreed in an executed contract, standard payment terms for custom bulk manufacturing are 50% deposit upon order confirmation and 50% balance after production completion prior to shipment dispatch.
6.2 Lead-Time Counting Protocol: Estimated production lead times quoted during enquiry are indicative until verified by the assigned factory at order placement. Mass production scheduling and official lead-time counting commence only after both conditions are met: (a) receipt of the 50% deposit, and (b) written Buyer approval of the Pre-Production Sample (PPS) and final artwork.
6.3 Dispatch Release: Our finance department must confirm receipt of the 50% balance payment (and any applicable freight charges) in full before finished goods are released to the forwarder or carrier.
7. Quality Control (QC) & Third-Party Inspection
7.1 Reference-Based Factory QC: LUX BOX does not make unsupported claims of "zero defects." Instead, our purchasing and factory QC teams inspect bulk production strictly against your approved Pre-Production Sample (PPS), confirmed dimensional tolerances, and agreed commercial criteria.
7.2 Material & Printing Nuances: Buyers acknowledge that natural kraft papers, specialty textured stocks, foil stamping, and multi-stage hand assembly involve reasonable commercial variations. Specific color-matching standards (such as Pantone spot colors or physical color drawdowns) and insert fit tolerances must be documented prior to PPS sign-off.
7.3 Third-Party Inspection Rights: Buyers are welcome to appoint an independent third-party inspection agency prior to shipment. Inspections must be scheduled by advance appointment with our sales and purchasing team and are normally paid for by the Buyer. Any batch failing agreed PPS reference criteria is held at the facility for sorting, rework, or corrective action prior to dispatch.
8. Shipping, Incoterms & Claims Resolution
8.1 Freight Coordination & Incoterms: Shipments may be handed over to the Buyer's nominated freight forwarder or managed through LUX BOX's logistics partners. Our standard commercial Incoterms are EXW (Ex Works), FOB (Free on Board), and CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight). Delivered terms such as DAP or DDP are not standard and require case-specific destination, customs, and tax review before confirmation.
8.2 Structural Volume & Packing Choice: Rigid set-up boxes occupy higher dimensional volume in sea/air freight compared to flat-packed folding cartons or collapsible rigid structures. Our shipping team provides packing specifications and export documentation, but LUX BOX does not guarantee numerical freight or warehouse labor savings.
8.3 Post-Delivery Claims & Compensation: In the event of a quality discrepancy after receipt, the Buyer should notify their LUX BOX sales representative promptly with clear photographic/video evidence, carton markings, and affected quantities. Sales will coordinate investigation with purchasing and factory QC against the retained PPS reference. Any credit, replacement, or financial compensation requires formal management approval.
9. Bright Glassware Project Coordination Terms
9.1 Synchronized Vessel & Packaging Engineering: For Buyers sourcing candle jars, diffuser bottles, or perfume vessels through Bright Glassware, LUX BOX can coordinate directly with the glassware team to verify physical vessel tolerances, engineer matching protective inserts, synchronize sampling, and align delivery schedules (including split deliveries where vessels ship to a filling facility and packaging ships directly to assembly or distribution).
9.2 Separate Contracting & Financial Default: While your original salesperson may remain your primary point of contact for project convenience, LUX BOX and Bright Glassware are separate commercial entities that normally issue quotations, execute contracts, and collect payments independently. Requests for a single combined contract or consolidated payment settlement across both companies are never automatic and require explicit management and finance review.
10. Sustainability Claims, Regulatory Compliance & Contact
10.1 Destination Compliance & Material Verification: Packaging sustainability requirements, chain-of-custody certifications (such as FSC paper status), transit drop tests, and chemical/regulatory rules vary by destination market. LUX BOX does not claim blanket EU, US, or global regulatory certification across all materials. If your project requires specific certified paper stocks, laboratory testing, or destination compliance documentation, this must be explicitly stated in your written brief and verified prior to quotation and PPS approval.
10.2 Website Content & Precedence: All text, structural photography, and commercial guides on this website are provided for informational B2B enquiry purposes. In the event of any conflict between these website Terms of Service and an executed Proforma Invoice (PI) or Purchase Contract signed by LUX BOX, the terms of the signed contract and approved PPS documentation shall prevail.
