Custom candle boxes need to fit the finished candle, support the retail price and work with the way orders are packed. Compare rigid presentation boxes, folding cartons, paper tubes and mailers for jar candles, taper candles and coordinated gift sets.
A glass jar introduces weight and contact points that a paper sleeve alone cannot address. Start with the jar, lid and filled weight. A rigid box gives a defined gift presentation but takes up storage space when supplied formed. A folding carton can suit local candle filling and routine retail replenishment. For parcel orders, assess the candle, insert and shipping carton as one pack rather than treating a decorative box as a shipper.
Brands and contract candle makers often need several scents in the same vessel. A common box structure with controlled artwork or label variants can simplify packing and reorders. Keep fragrance identification visible to the packing team. Where jars differ, check each fit rather than assuming a nominal wax weight defines the dimensions. Foil, texture and wrapping paper should support the intended price point without making every SKU a separate engineering project.
A printed folding carton can suit local filling and routine replenishment; a wrapped rigid pack creates a different gift presentation. Select paperboard grade and caliper for the chosen closure, or specify greyboard and visible wrap separately for a rigid box. Tube and mailer options need their own structures. Review foil, embossing or lamination on the actual surface, with the filled jar and insert included in the sample.
Start with the jar, lid, filled weight and the number of scents or set variants. A structural white sample can resolve fit and loading before a printed sample establishes artwork and finish. Basic design is normally arranged after the sample fee is received; an initial preview may be considered for eligible projects. Sample charges and any exception are confirmed before work begins.
Send the complete jar dimensions, lid clearance, filled weight, scent/SKU quantities, retail or parcel route and any gift-set layout. LUX BOX can coordinate the box, insert and selected accessories, with drawings and samples reviewed together.
For candle projects, the usual MOQ is 1,000 pieces and production lead time is 35 days. Confirm the scent variants, sample approval and delivery stages in the quotation.

Send the actual product dimensions, preferred structure, material and finish requirements, artwork or reference, estimated order quantity and destination country. LUX BOX will review the specification and sampling scope for your candle packaging project.
It can when the finished jars and closures share the same external dimensions. Separate artwork or labels can identify the scents. Different vessels still need an individual fit check.
Gift presentation and parcel protection are separate requirements. Review the filled jar, insert, retail box and outer carton together, then agree how the complete pack will be evaluated.
Use the actual jar and lid measurements, not wax capacity alone. Containers with the same nominal capacity may have different diameters, heights and bases.
