Size from the finished jar rather than wax capacity
Jar candle packaging starts with the external container, including base variations, protruding lids and labels. A nominal ounce capacity will not establish the carton size. Importers managing several vessel suppliers should identify the approved jar version for each box. A shared footprint is useful only when every intended jar loads, closes and comes out correctly.
Compare jar-carton and presentation formats
An everyday retail jar pack may use printed paperboard, while gifting can call for a separately developed wrapped rigid box. The vessel and filling operation should decide the fit before the surface treatment is chosen. Include any lid liner, dust cover or secondary wrap in the sample so those details do not consume unallocated clearance.

Can two jars with the same ounce capacity use one box?
Only if their actual profiles and the proposed support arrangement are compatible. Measure both finished containers rather than using fill capacity as the sizing reference.
