Molded Pulp Inserts
Confirm molded-pulp tooling and supply before commitment
Molded pulp inserts are a project-reviewed development option rather than an automatically available standard tray. Define the product geometry, contact areas, usable box space and removal needs, then confirm sourcing and tooling. Compare the proposed physical sample with alternative fitment materials. Recycled-content, compostability or certification claims require supporting evidence for the actual supply.
Treat tooling and sourcing as part of development
A molded-fibre tray needs confirmed geometry, tooling and actual supply before it is quoted as production-ready. Compare the material sample and contact surface with folded paperboard, corrugated or assessed foam alternatives. Do not infer compostability, recycled content or certification from the moulded appearance. Confirm any claimed attribute for the specific proposed material.
Can a molded-pulp concept be quoted as an existing production tool?
Only if that tool and its suitability have been confirmed. Otherwise the quotation needs to distinguish development, tooling, sample work and production supply.
Request a quote for molded pulp inserts
Confirm sourcing, tooling, dimensions, material specification and the actual sample. Include artwork or a design reference, estimated quantity and destination country so LUX BOX can prepare a project-specific quotation.
MOQ: usually 1,000 pieces. Production: usually 35 days. Confirm exceptions, start conditions and transit separately.
