Lipstick Boxes

AI concept: tall ivory lip-product carton with an uncapped lipstick, catalog view.

Match the carton to the lipstick or lip-balm component

Lipstick and lip-balm formats can share a small retail footprint while having very different external components. Measure the closed primary container, including caps and protruding ends. Keep product identification and artwork orientation clear where several shades use similar cartons. A box designed for a lipstick mechanism should not be assumed to fit a balm tube from another supplier.

Separate shade identification from component fit

Use the actual closed lipstick or lip-balm component to develop the folding-carton dieline and board choice. A common graphic system can support several shades without making different mechanisms interchangeable. Check small text and printed colour on the selected stock, and include each approved primary-container version when comparing quantities and artwork variants.

Can lipstick boxes also be used for lip balm?

A carton can be developed for either application, but the actual component dimensions and closing method must be checked. Keep each approved container version linked to its carton.
