Order EVA fitments around a defined product profile
Standalone EVA foam inserts can be assessed for an existing box or developed with a new outer pack. Define the product’s support and removal areas before choosing the cut profile. Foam specification, thickness and surface contact need a physical review. The fitment is one part of the pack; it does not establish a zero-breakage guarantee on its own.
Specify foam and contact surfaces explicitly
For an EVA fitment, confirm the actual foam specification, thickness and cut profile against the product and usable box space. A flocked or other decorative surface is a separate selection requiring sample approval. Discuss retention and removal before adding appearance details. The dark foam shown in an AI reference does not establish its grade or protective performance.
Can an EVA insert be made from a product photograph alone?
A photograph can begin the discussion. Accurate dimensions or an actual sample and the usable box cavity are needed for the fitment drawing and approval.
