Patricia Harbaugh DeBoer McLucas, passed away December 22, 2021, in Shelton, WA. She fought a hard and long battle, after getting Melanoma Cancer for the second time. She was the daughter of Glen and Rose Harbaugh of Blyn, WA. She loved her hometowns of Blyn and Sequim. She had many lifelong friendships in both places.
Patti enjoyed music and playing her piano, she loved a good game of checkers, and going out to breakfast. She was active in several musical groups, and loved to sing and tap dance. Patti was active in the United Methodist Church and also Habitat for Humanity and the Lions Club. She loved her two cats dearly, and loved to go dancing.
Patti is survived by her long time gentleman friend, Jim Grall of Port Angeles, who was always there for her. She is also survived by her first husband, Melvin DeBoer of Portland, OR, and her second husband, of seventeen years, Robert McLucas of Washington. Patti is also survived by her three daughters; Debbie (Jim) Goulet of Florida; Cathy (Dale) Chrisman of Shelton, WA; and Vicki (Rob) Openshaw of California. Patti had five grandchildren; Marcus, Carly, Tiffanie, Chris and Blake; several great-grandchildren; and her cat, Kitty.

Betty “Jo” Cummins
March 29, 1933 – November 18, 2021
Betty “Jo” Cummins of Sequim, Washington, passed away November 18, 2021, at Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles from complications of Covid-19. She was 88.
A Celebration of a Life Lived will take place Sunday, January 9, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Sequim Bible Church, with a reception to immediately follow.
Jo was born March 29, 1933, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Leroy and Nettie (Bates) Holliday. She attended school in the Baltimore area.
In 1950, she married Walter Ashton Cummins. Shortly thereafter, they moved to the Olympic Peninsula, where Walt was stationed at various locations, including the Dungeness Lighthouse.
Jo worked as a real estate agent at Home Realty and Blue Sky Real Estate in Sequim, WA. Before becoming a real estate agent, she was a stay-at-home mom. She was also a Sunday School teacher and taught the “Good News Club” and Vacation Bible School at Sequim Bible Church.
She was an avid cake baker for special events and a supporter of the local Republican Party. She was beloved by the community and will be greatly missed.
Jo is survived by her daughter, Kelly Cummins-Davidson of Sequim, WA; daughter in-laws KКrin Williams-Cummins of Sequim, WA and Donna Cummins of California; her seven grandchildren, Kyle, Nick and Grace Spencer, Victoria Cummins and Meredith Cummins all of Sequim, WA, Sarah Davidson of Bayview, ID and Kim Odegaard of California; nine great grandchildren, Caleb and Riley Odegaard of California, Emmett and Jordyn Davidson of Bayview, ID, Michael, Matthew and Mason Lund and Natalie and Andrew Gilliam all of Sequim, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leroy and Nettie (Bates) Holliday; husband Walt Cummins; sons Dave and Jeff Cummins; daughter Kathy Spencer-Nichols and son in-law Don Davidson.
